Over the past two months we held our annual collection drive to support our Charity Partner Baby Give Back, the incredible Queensland charity who support thousands of families in crisis each year through donations of gently used and new baby items. With many taking advantage of the new year break to declutter, this proved a perfect opportunity to give quality items a new life in support of families in need, instead of diverting to landfill.
Our combined impact
Together, our generous community donated almost 300kg of baby and child items to help families in crisis. In this round alone we gave:
- 300 babies a clean nappy,
- 13 children safe transport (including car seats and prams),
- 12 parents essential feeding equipment (including a record 11 breast pumps!), and
- 4 children a safe sleep space (cots).
All goods donated will be distributed to vulnerable families by Baby Give Back’s partner caseworkers.
