The Nappy Collective provides nappies for vulnerable children across Australia by collecting donations of new and leftover nappies and redistributing them to families in crisis. One in ten Aussie families struggle to afford enough nappies to keep their little ones clean, happy, and healthy. These families are often escaping domestic violence, facing homelessness, experiencing financial hardship, seeking refuge, or recovering from natural disasters. As the only dedicated charity working to alleviate nappy stress in Australia, The Nappy Collective has collected over 7 million nappies and helped over 230,000 families since 2013. “At The Nappy Collective, we rely on volunteers to power our mission—and youth volunteers from commonkind have been a shining example of what’s possible. Contributions like this directly increase our capacity, allowing us to support more families in crisis with fewer resources. When young people step up to help other children, it not only lightens the load—it gives us hope for the kind of community we’re building together.”
